Earlier this month, the Broward County Commission held a special workshop to hear from our local experts, the Director of the Florida Department of Health in Broward County, the CEO of Broward Health and Memorial Hospital on several main concerns as the numbers of cases in our community continues to rise. The Commission also heard an update from the Broward Sheriff’s Office on enforcement. Additionally, the County Administrator discussed her immediate strategy of the most recent Emergency Order curtailing restaurant hours of operation along with extended seating requirements. Along with a detailed presentation on the new County Dashboard to help residents ensure they are doing everything they can to contribute to a safer, healthier community and stop the spread of the coronavirus.
