New Emergency Order Modifies Some Business Restrictions
- Modifies restaurant closing hours but adds alcohol sales restrictions -
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – As the number of COVID-19 cases in Broward slowly begins to decline, the County has issued Emergency Order 20-24, effective immediately, which modifies some business restrictions. These modifications, however, could be rescinded if the numbers begin to rise again due to non-compliance.
As we approach the Labor Day holiday weekend and expect visitors from around the country, it is even more important that residents remain vigilant by staying home when possible, not participating in large parties (social gatherings of more than 10 people), continuing to wash hands frequently, wearing face coverings and practicing social distancing, all of which are mandated under current Emergency Orders.
